Social Justice Challenge

2010 Social Justice Reading Challenge

I thought that I was going to hold myself to five challenges this year, but I just can't pass on the opportunity to participate in the Social Justice Challenge and both learn about and take action against social injustices in the world. All the details are available on the challenge blog.

The monthly themes in which I'm most interested in participating as an "activist" are Domestic Violence and Child Abuse (March), AIDS Crisis (May), Illiteracy and Education (August), and Women's Rights (November).

January's theme is Religious Freedom. I expect that I'll be either a "volunteer" or an "observer" as I figure out exactly how this is all going to work.
