I'm scheduling this post for 6:00 - the end of the 24-hour read-a-thon. I'm not sure if I'll still be awake when it's time to post it. Regardless, the message I'm leaving will be the same:
I can't keep my eyes open another minute. I'll be back sometime tomorrow - I mean, later today - with my final report. Good night!
You did great :D
ReplyDeleteGood night
Great job! I think you definitely read longer than I did. I'm very impressed. I cannot BELIEVE how much people got read. I really AM the world's slowest reader!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job! :) I fell asleep around 3:30 am, and I was just cheering everyone on, so I think you did amazing. Next time I really MUST cheer AND read! Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteReadathon Bookcrossing Book Winner! Your first choice, Allie Finkle, has already been claimed, but you were first to claim Boyology. If you will send me your mailing address (debnance (at) gmail (dot) com, I will send it out to you next week!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the read-a-thon, Alison! Hope you get some much needed rest today.
ReplyDeleteGreat job!I love to read, but I don't think I could do the all-night thing. I'm currently finishing a PD James book, and it's one from which I need to take breaks! I am also digesting a very interesting take human behavior, "Dominance and Delusion." It explores why we came to be the way we are, why we act as we do and why we believe and think as we do. Very thought provoking! I have found myself changing my mind about the book as I'm reading it! Next up, the new Harlan Coben. (But I have to finish PD James first... for book club)
ReplyDeleteForgot to mention -- hope you had a nice restful day!
