Saturday is the ninth occurrence of Dewey's 24-Hour Read-a-Thon! In the past I've often been able to clear my calendar for the day of the event, but this time I've got at least one other commitment that I need to fulfill. I'm also not sure, given my current health concerns, that I'm willing to go without sleep. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to devoting a good part of my day to reading. I do hope that I'll be more successful than I was in April, when I ended up in the ER!

I haven't decided yet if I am going to be readathoning yet. Once I see all the posts I will probably feel the need to join in though.

ReplyDeleteYou bet I am reading! I never make it the whole 24 hours, but will go as late as I can! My 16 year old son is planning on reading with me again-this will be our 6th time.

Oh yes, I'll be there (along with my husband and best friend.) I have done all but the very first one but only managed to stay up for the whole 24 hours once. I felt horrible the next day so am not sure I'll do that again.
