Movie tie-in cover.Chocolat was the pick for my book club's November/December meeting. We met last week - but I just finished the book today. I found it to be magical! Now I want to watch the film version. I'm also interested in the recent sequel The Girl with No Shadow.

I love the film. I think the film is so much richer than the book. Warning: it is different, but I prefer the changes. I found this a difficult book to read. It wasn't one that I enjoyed.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I read this one too, but I liked the film much better. And the film doesnt stay true to the book. Maybe I liked the film so much because of Johnny Depp and the chocolate, two of my favorite things ;)
